Adopt this Pet: Meet Piper the Cat

Piper is one of the adoptable pets at the Seattle Humane Society featured this week on Bellevue Patch. Check this column soon to meet another featured adoptable pet.

Meet Piper! This 2-year-old girl enjoys having you pet her luscious tri-color coat. This sweet girl adores her cuddle time but will perk in an instant the moment you sprinkle around some cat nip. Piper will make a wonderful companion for someone who will join her in her playful antics. Come visit pretty Piper today at Seattle Humane. 

The  is at 13212 SE Eastgate Way in Bellevue and is open seven days a week, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday.

All dogs and cats at the  have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. They go home with 30 days of pet health insurance and a certificate for an examination by a King County veterinarian.   • During the month of January, Seattle Humane Society is waiving adoption fees on all critters like guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters and pet rats. Small animals can often be the perfect first pet.   • If you’re looking to make a furry new addition to your family, come by Rex on Capitol Hill Jan. 22 and Feb. 12 from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. Visit with adoptable pets on Seattle Humane’s MaxMobile! The MaxMobile is a bright yellow, 38-foot, custom-built mobile adoption and education center. "Max" will visit the store with loving dogs, cats, and even a few rabbits, ready for on-the-spot adoption. Come find your new best friend at Rex on Capitol Hill and shop around too!
