Bellevue East Lacrosse Beats Lakeside, Remains Undefeated

Miller's 6 goals leads high flying Bellevue East girls past Lakeside for 7th lax win

BELLEVUE – Kayla Miller scored a season-high six goals to lead undefeated Bellevue East to its seventh girls high school lacrosse win of the season with a 20 – 7 defeat of Lakeside’s Division II squad, Wednesday at Bellevue’s Robinswood Park.

With the win, Northeast leading Bellevue East moved four points ahead of second-place Overlake in the race for the division crown.

For Bellevue East Camille Sullivan contributed four goals, Sophie Wolz served up five assists and Elizabeth Soffey commanded seven draw controls.

Bellevue East (7-0-0) next faces Lake Tapps, Wednesday, April 20 in a 5:30 p.m. start at Bellevue’s Robinswood Park. Lakeside (3-5-0) next faces Lake Sammamish, Thursday, April 28 in a 6:15 p.m. start at the Lakeside Upper School in north Seattle.
