Blue C Sushi and Boom Noodle To Donate to Japan Disaster Relief

The two restaurants, which have locations in Bellevue Square, are donating 10 percent of sales to Red Cross Japan earthquake and Pacific tsunami relief.

and , Japan-inspired restaurants in downtown Bellevue, which are both owned by the same Seattle-based business partners, announced that they will donate 10 percent of Monday and Tuesday's sales to Red Cross Japan earthquake and Pacific tsunami relief.

The following was posted to Boom Noodle's blog on its webpage, and both restaurant's Facebook pages (On Facebook: Boom Noodle and Blue C):

As a restaurant that owes everything we do to Japanese culture, and we are greatly saddened by the destruction caused by the earthquake and ongoing challenges Japan faces.

We want to help. This Monday and Tuesday Boom will be donating 10% of our sales to the Red Cross Japan earthquake and Pacific tsunami relief.

Both restaurants, located in Bellevue Square, are owned by partners James Allard, Steve Rosen and George Christothoulou.

Both restaurants are located on Bellevue Way, on the exterior of Bellevue Square, at NE 8th Street and Bellevue Way NE. Boom Noodle specializes in ramen and other noodle dishes. Blue C is a sushi restaurant that serves kaiten-style, or on a conveyor belt.
