Fundraiser Car Wash, Thrift Shop Half-Off Sale: What's Up
You can spend your money for good causes at Saturday fundraisers including a car wash at the Old Bellevue Chevron and a 50 percent off sale at Sophia's Thrift Shoppe.
If you were planning to spend your weekend washing your car or back-to-school shopping, you can do so for a good cause on Saturday, with two local fundraising efforts.
Eastside Precision Drill Team's Car Wash:
Get your car washed by Eastside Precision Drill Team on Saturday Aug. 10 at the
Chevron at 10011 Main St in old Bellevue from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Car washes are by donation.
The team is raising money for annual expenses for items such as uniforms, insurance, transportation, competition fees, and other team events. Members pay only $20 a month, and the team relies on fundraisers for the rest of their funding. For more information about the team go to: http://www.eastsidedrillteam.com
50 percent Off Sale at Sophia's Thrift Shoppe:
Sophia’s Thrift Shoppe, which raises money for The Sophia Way. The Sophia Way offers programs to help homeless women get back on their feet, including hosting an overnight shelter for women. The sale is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday Aug. 10 at the Thrift Shoppe, 13219 NE 20th St Suite 200, Bellevue. You can even get an early start to your holiday shopping.
