Symetra Investment Services, Inc. (SIS), an independent broker-dealer, debuted new office space at its Bellevue headquarters with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Dec. 11. Joining SIS President Richard Moran at the celebration were Bellevue Mayor Conrad Lee, SIS advisors and employees. The 26-year-old financial services firm has been based at Bellevue’s Key Center, 601 108th Avenue Northeast, since 2005.
Occupying approximately 8,100 square feet, the redesigned space features an open floor plan to promote collaboration, maximize natural light and open up surrounding vistas. Built out by JPC Architects in Bellevue, the revamped offices feature furniture and carpeting manufactured using environmentally sustainable materials.
The expanded offices also offer SIS’s affiliated financial advisors a retirement income resource center to help them meet the investment needs of their clients.
“This new space represents what SIS strives to be — a premier retirement-income broker-dealer,” said Moran. “We set out to create a collaborative environment that supports our advisors and their retirement-income planning needs. Doors are open, walls are low, everything’s easily accessible — it’s a space that brings the entire SIS team together.”
Symetra Investment Services, Inc. is a broker-dealer and registered investment advisor subsidiary of Symetra Financial Corporation (NYSE: SYA), a diversified financial services company based in Bellevue.
