Kids are back to school, days are getting shorter, and soon the holidays will be here. Attend a mindfulness-based stress reduction class (MBSR) and learn how to cope mindfully with daily stress as we head into the holiday season.
Mindfulness is being aware of the present moment with acceptance and without judgment. From a mindfulness perspective, the present moment is impermanent yet always here. Mindfulness is the call to remember that we can be present to what happens in our daily lives in a way that creates space for calm while minimizing stress. In this practice, the mind and body are seen as a whole integrating all experience. Awareness of the mind-body connection is available to all of us, allowing access to the combined wisdom of the mind and the body.
