• Take a break from back to school shopping and head to the mall's Center Court for a free concert featuring celebrated Pacific Northwest children’s musician and author Eric Ode.

Aug. 13: World Language Story Time at the

• 11-11:30 a.m.
• Kids ages 2-5 and an adult caregiver are invited to enjoy books, songs and finger plays of stories from around the world presented in several languages other than English.
• Cost: Free

Aug. 13: Toy Swap at

• Noon-4 p.m.
• Kids with adult supervision may participate in this first annual “toy flea market” in the store’s parking lot by renting a 4-foot space for $5 or 8-foot space for $10 and swapping or selling gently used toys.

Aug. 16: The Karate Kid at the at the

• 7:30 p.m. – Pre-movie activity of Bellevue Youth Theater’s Shakespeare in the Park presentation begins, movie starts at dusk
• Bring the whole family to this PG-rated hit movie set in China featuring Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan.
• Cost: Free but consider a donation to benefit clients of this week’s featured agency, YouthCare. Donate a backpack, Target gift card, or flash drive. The series continues through Aug. 23 and a schedule of upcoming movies is available online.
