Bellevue Patch Whiz Kid: Bellevue Youth Is Developing a Play For Bellevue Youth Theatre

Accomplishment: Neve is an active member of the , and currently is writing a play for the group.

Keys to Awesomeness: James McLain of Bellevue Youth Theatre says Neve is one of its very active participants, acting and taking on other roles, such as stage managing for the recent production of The Last Unicorn.

Now she's also working on writing an original play to be staged by Bellevue Youth Theatre, he says. 

"She's always got a positive attitude," McLain says, adding that Neve, the oldest child in her family, has really blossomed and taken a leadership role in the theatre this year.

"She's got a lot going on," says McLain, who says she exemplifies the goals of the theatre to provide a place where kids fit in and feel like they belong. "It's about finding someplace where they are wanted. She really represents that."
