Go on an outdoor adventure this weekend, nearby at Crystal Mountain Resort. Located just 90 minutes from Bellevue, the resort is open daily for summer hiking, disc golf and even horseback riding. Kids of all ages love the scenic rides on the Mt. Rainier Gondola. On clear days you can see as far north as Mt. Baker and as far south as Mt. Hood with Mt. Yes the new parking garage takes some getting used to, but you’ll find lots more spaces when you park there Saturday, 8/24, to see The Wizard of Wonderland Magic show for ages five and up runs from 11 a.m. to Noon. Free.

Enjoy an Outdoor Movie Saturday Night at Carillon Point in Kirkland
The whole family will enjoy watching Puss in Boots August 24th at Kirkland’s Carillion Point. The movie will start at dusk (around 8 pm), with the plaza open one hour prior to the start of the movie for seating. Suggested donation of $5 to benefit the eastside non-profit organization HopeLink. Bring low back chairs or bean bags to sit on. Concessions sold on site.
