Four Bellevue Libraries Close Due to Icy Road Conditions

The King County Library System libraries in Bellevue, including downtown Bellevue, Library Connection at Crossroads, Newport Way and Lake Hills, are all closed.

If your family is having a snow day today, the libraries are not an option in Bellevue. The four King County Library System libraries in Bellevue, including , and , are all closed because of the weather, according to the King County Library System Wiki.

Several businesses around Bellevue have also remained closed or they opened late because of icy road conditions, so it might be a good idea to call before heading out. Or better yet -- really reconsider if you need to go: the National Weather Service and the Washington State Department of Transportation encourages motorists to stay off the roads. 

Freezing temperatures and rain and snow expected this afternoon and evening, according to the National Weather Service. However, meteorologists are expecting little to no snow accumulation. This afternoon's weather is expected to have high temps near 37 and have north northeast wind around 6 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
