Two activities that will never go out of fashion are running and giving to a good cause.
The inaugural Spirit of Bellevue Run, hosted by the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce and Bellevue Chamber Foundation, gives participants the opportunity to do both.
The run is on Aug. 12 at . Proceeds will go to scholarships to help local students attend college.
Runners can choose to participate in a 12K run or a 5K walk/run.
Early bird registration ends on Aug. 8. If you register before then, the cost of the 12K is $40, and the cost of the 5K is $30.
If you register after Aug. 8, the cost of the 12K is $45, and the cost of the 5K is $40.

For those who feel like giving, but not running, the foundation is accepting donations to the scholarship fund. To donate, click here or call 425-454-2464.
