July Fourth in Bellevue: When, Where to Celebrate

You can celebrate July Fourth with fireworks and family fun in Bellevue? There are several events scheduled all day to celebrate our country's independence.

What's going on July Fourth in Bellevue? Check out these options to celebrate locally:

Acura of Bellevue Four on the 4th Dog Jog & Walk, Ashwood Park
Nearly 1,000 participants are expected in the first ever Acura of Bellevue Four on the 4th Dog Jog & Walk. The event is at 9 a.m. July 4 in Ashwood Park, 10820 NE 10th St, Bellevue, adjacent to the Bellevue library. The event benefits Seattle Humane Society in Bellevue. Early registration through July 2 is $25 per person, and registration on July 4 is $30 per person. To register and for more information visit Bellevue4thRun.com.

Symetra Bellevue Family 4th, Downtown Park
The annual Symetra  Bellevue Family 4th will be at Bellevue Downtown Park, 10201 NE 4th St, Bellevue. Activities will include food, games, live music, and a public fireworks show accompanied by the Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra (BYSO). BYSO also will play an encore performance after the fireworks. The events kick off at 2 p.m. The Newport High School Vocal Quartet will perform the national anthem at 9 p.m. and the Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra will begin their concert at 9:30 p.m. Fireworks begin at 10 p.m. 94.1 FM KMPS will have a live broadcast of the event. Fourth of July Celebration at Lake Boren Park
Fireworks, music, food and fun will again fill Lake Boren Park for the Fourth of July Celebration this year. The band Big Dog Revue will perform from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. and the fireworks will start at dark, but you can begin festivities as early as 6 p.m. when food vendors will be on site. Glow necklaces and paper flags will be distributed to add to the event's patriotic spirit. Fireworks at Lake Boren Park are provided because lighting fireworks yourself is prohibited within city limits.
