Kids Care Coat Drive: Show You Care

Coats and thick outerwear are needed for Bellevue Youth Link's Kids Care Coat Drive. The coats for this season will be distributed Jan. 15, 2013.

The first mountain snows were just last month, signaling the arrival of the winter season. As the temperatures cool, the demand for clothes increases.

Donation boxes have been set up at schools, community centers, and some businesses where you will be able to donate thick outerwear and coats to those who need the clothing to last them through the winter.

The suitable donated clothes will be distributed on Jan. 15, 2013, at the Crossroads Community Center from 4-7 p.m.

The Kids Care Coat Drive has had incredible success over the past seven years, collecting and distributing thousands of outerwear each year. Last year alone, the Bellevue Youth Link collected over 3,000 coats for families in need. Let’s collect even more this year!

Donations for the Kids Care Coat Drive can be dropped off through Jan. 15 at Bellevue community centers, high schools, and middle schools. Fore more information, contact Patrick Alina, the Program Coordinator, at palina@bellevuewa.gov.
