Labor Day: What's Open, What's Closed in Bellevue

Labor Day is Monday September 2; here is a list of what's open and closed in Bellevue and holiday bus routes

Bellevue City Hall is closed Monday. It will reopen Tuesday, Sept. 3. There will also be a city council meeting Tuesday night.

Bellevue School District is closed. First day of school is Tuesday, Sept. 3.

Garbage and Recycling: Garbage and recycling will be on its regular schedule in Bellevue.

King County government: Closed.

US Postal Service: Closed.

Express delivery companiesFedEx and UPS will be closed.

King County Library System is closed Monday and will reopen Sept. 3.

King County Metro transit: Is operating on a Sunday schedule.

Sound Transit: Is operating on a Sunday schedule.

King County Transfer Stations (AKA King County Solid Waste Division): Open regular hours. The Factoria location at 13800 SE 32nd St. is open from 6:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday.

State of Washington: Closed.

Washington State Ferries: Some, but not all, routes are operating on a weekend schedule. Check the Washington State Ferries alerts website for the status of your ferry.

Federal government: Closed.

Banks: Many, if not most, will be closed. Check your local branch.
