Mid-Week Snow Possible in Foothills and Possibly Bellevue's Hills

The mountain passes, meanwhile, are expected to get heavy snow on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Cascade foothills will likely get a dusting of snow on Wednesday night, as snow levels drop around the Puget Sound region, with a chance of snow on Bellevue's hills.

The National Weather Service forecast for Bellevue says and rain showers are likely after 10 p.m. on Wednesday. The snow level will be 500 feet, and little or no accumulation is expected.

On Thursday, the snow level will continue dropping to 300 feet, but the chance of precipitation will also decrease, to 30 percent.

Meanwhile, the mountain passes will see heavy snowfall into the middle of the week. Snoqualmie Pass is forecast to get 5-9 inches Tuesday and another 2-4 inches on Wednesday; Stevens Pass could see accumulations above 15 inches by Thursday.
