Feb 2: Mom and Me are Smart with Art and Preschoolers are Smart with Art at the

• Mom and Me - 11:15 am to noon and Preschoolers - 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
• Both of these Smart with Art classes meet every Thursday for four weeks.
• Mom and Me is for ages one to three with an adult caregiver. Preschoolers is for ages three to five.
• Each class includes a short museum tour followed by instruction and a project.

• Enjoy painting and story time together! A different theme every week. Attend six sessions and receive a free Golden book.

Feb 3: The Red Thread: A Chinese Tale of Connection and Celebration at the 

• 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
• For kids age three and up with an adult caregiver.
• There is an ancient Chinese belief that every child is born with a red thread that attaches the child to everyone of importance they will meet in life. This program explores this theme and aspects of New Year celebrations from around the world through creative movement, story and art.

Feb 4: Kids Workshop

• For kids five to twelve
• Kids make a keepsake box this month, which makes a great Valentine’s Day gift or a personalized box to hold their “treasures”. In addition to the project, each child also receives a kid-size Home Depot apron and an achievement pin.

• Enjoy an interactive story time with your preschool age child that connects math and science concepts with books, songs, finger plays and old-fashion fun.
