March 2: Free First Friday Workshop for Kids at the
- 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
- For students age five and up.
- Students will tour the current exhibit Knitted, Knotted, Twisted and Twinded: The Jewelry of Mary Lee Hu, then create their own pieces using copper wire and glass beads.
- The program includes a pizza dinner and snacks. However, if you skip the workshop and just tour the museum between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Free First Friday, admission is, well, free.
- Cost: $30 per child, $50 for two children. Pre-registration online required.
March 3: Kids Workshop at
- 9 am to noon
- Kids ages five to twelve with an adult caretaker
- This month’s project is a #20 speedster race car. Kids will learn to build their very own race car while learning tool safety.
- Kids get to bring home their project, a kids-size workshop apron, commemorative pin and certificate of achievement.
- Cost: Free. No preregistration required.
March 3: Lego Event at
- Come by from 2 pm to 4 pm to view all the cool creations.
- Enter your Lego creation by 2/29 for a chance at great prizes.
- Winners will be announced at the store’s big Lego Event on Saturday, March 3rd at 4 pm.
