EVENTS FOR FAMILIES, June 22–29
June 22: Kids’ Cove Story Times at
- 10 a.m.
- Head to the Kids’ Cove play area on the third floor of Bellevue Square every Wednesday morning through August to enjoy a live story time with local storytellers.

June 23: Mother’s Day at the Movies at

- 9:45 a.m. box office opens, 10 a.m. movies begin
- Parents enjoy a first-run movie with a non-crawling baby in tow in theaters with the lights up a bit, sound down a bit to keep the moms and babies happy. And they’ll bring the concession service to your seat! Movies featured this week are The Tree of Life, Beginners and Super 8.
- Cost: $7.75 per parent
June 23: Olympic Day at Crossfit Bellevue
- Kid activities from 10 a.m.-noon & family activities 6-9 p.m.
- Olympic Day will be celebrated around the world June 23. Cummins Chiropractic and Wellness and Crossfit Bellevue is offering a variety of activities to engage families in getting fit and celebrating the Olympics. The morning’s activities at Crossfit Bellevue located at 13425 SE 30th St., Suite 2C, in Bellevue include a fitness decathlon and the opportunity to meet rower Anna Cummins, who won a gold medal at the Beijing Olympics. A community BBQ and wellness fair will be held that evening.

- Enjoy food, vendors, live entertainment and lots of kid activities including bouncy houses. There will be lots of parking available at nearby and a free shuttle to .
- Cost: Entertainment and some activities are free; some of the kids' activities have a fee. Tickets are $1 and paid activities require one to five tickets.
June 25: Get Crafty Saturday at the
- 1-3 p.m.
- Make a piece of wearable art inspired by Think Twice: New Latin American Jewelry, the new exhibit of work by 80 Latin American artists. Choose from a variety of cool materials to create your memorable jewelry art, including wire, beads, hemp and string.
- Cost: $2 materials fee per child or free with admission. Sponsored by Bank of America.
