Sept. 21: Parent Workshop at in Factoria: Help Your Child Get Their Zzz’s
- 6 to 7:30 p.m.
- In this workshop with Julie Kennedy, a certified Gentle Sleep Coach, you’ll learn the basics of helping your child get a good night’s sleep. Learn about what keeps your child awake, how much sleep your child needs in each stage of development and how to successfully “sleep train” your child and more!

Sept. 24: Get Crafty Saturday at the
- 1 - 3 p.m.
- All ages. This Saturday’s theme is Travel Toys inspired by the current BAM exhibit, Travelers: Objects of Dream and Revelation. Kids will be able to choose from several pre-made items related to travel and transportation and finish it to keep as a reminder of their visit to BAM.
- Cost: $2 materials fee per child or free with admission. Sponsored by Bank of America.
Sept. 24: Lego Contest at
- 2 - 4 p.m.
- Look at all the entrees and vote for your favorite in each category. Winners announced at 4 pm. Deadline for submitting a design is September 21. More information including instructions and age categories on the store’s website.

Sept. 26: Japanese Story Time at the
- 11 - 11:30 a.m.
- All ages welcome. Stories, games and music in Japanese for Japanese-speaking children and for children interested in the language.
- Cost: Free
Sept. 27: Let’s Do Lunch at with Family Story Time at the and the Crossroads Farmers Market
- 11:15 - 11:45 a.m. and 1:30 - 2 p.m.
- Children of all ages and adult caregivers are invited to enjoy an interactive story time that includes early literacy fun with books, songs, finger plays and body movement. Have lunch afterwards at the nearby Crossroads Farmers Market, open every Tuesday from noon to 6:30 pm through October 4th.
