Taste of Main: Food and Fun for a Good Cause in Old Bellevue

brought hundreds to Old Bellevue Saturday, as people walked Main and the surrounding streets for food, wine and other treats offered by Bellevue merchants.

Here are some photos that we took at the event. Please feel free to add yours by clicking on the "upload videos and photos" button.

The fourth annual event raised money for the Children’s Response Center and features the restaurants on Bellevue’s noteworthy and celebrated Main Street. The event featured a silent auction, and a car show.

For the price of a $40 passport, restaurants like Bis on Main, Cantinetta, Monsoon East and Two Sisters Olive Oil offered samples of food, and non-food merchants such as That ART GAL and Glassybaby hosted wineries.

All the money went to the Children's Response Center, based at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The Children's Response Center provides unduplicated, essential legal and counseling services to children under 18 in East and North King County who have experienced severe abuse, trauma and child crimes.
