As the editor of Bellevue Patch for the past three years, I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for being our audience. It's been a great three years, getting to know Bellevue once again after many years away, and it's been an honor being invited into your communities.

My time here at Patch is done as of Tuesday, Oct. 15, and I appreciate the time that you, the Patch community, have invested in this site.

Patch plans to keep the website open, though without the supervision of a local editor. The boards, blogs and events sections will remain open for the community to use. I hope that you all continue to use the boards to reach out to your neighbors and keep each other informed. Patch doesn't exist without you, and that's never been more true than now. If you need to learn how to do post, here's an article to guide you.

I've enjoyed hearing from you, reading your comments and seeing you share your news with each other by posting your events, blogs and announcements. I hope it all continues.
