The Old, The New, The... Blue?

Three brand new babies get welcomed at a historic home.

Something old, something new and definitely something blue were recently seen at the Winters House on Bellevue Way.

The Winters House was built in 1929. It is on the National Register of Historic Places. Although it is owned by the City of Bellevue, Eastside Heritage Center oversees programs in the building, handles historic displays and provides weekend docents.

Last month Eastside Heritage members and supporters rented the building for a "new born" experience. They held a baby shower for Heather Trescases and Carly Jellyman. Trescases is the Executive Director of Eastside Heritage Center; Jellyman was a curator with the group.

The blue: both historians had baby boys this summer. Trecases son is Phillip and Jellyman had twins, Jude and Liam.
