Curious Max: Family and Educator Day at the Frye

The Frye Art Museum is celebrating the start of the school year with Curious Max: Family and Educator Day. Visitors will be immersed in the world of Munich painter Gabriel von Max while they can enjoy activities for all ages and learn about Pre-K–12 educational programs. Parents and educators can enjoy a special hands-on art activity and a receive lesson plan.

Highlights:

11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Gallery Tours and art activities including sock monkey making and origami butterflies

11:15 p.m.
Storytelling: Caps for Sale by Seattle Children’s Theatre

12 p.m.
Special performance by Recess Monkey (Auditorium seating is first-come, first served. Space is extremely limited. The performance will be audio simulcast in the Museum Café and Art Studio.)

1:30 p.m.
Movie: Curious George (86 min)
