Eastside Candidate Forum/Candidates for Governor, Attorney General

The Eastside Candidate Forum is pleased to offer an opportunity for the community to meet the regional candidates for Washington State offices of Governor and Attorney General.  Rob McKenna and Jay Inslee, candidates for Governor, along with Reagan Dunn and Bob Ferguson, candidates for Attorney General, will all speak at the forum. The free event is Saturday, October 22, 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. in St. Andrew’s Ballroom at The Golf Club at Newcastle.

“This year’s Eastside Candidate Forum will not be a debate, instead the candidates will each have 15 minutes to speak,” said John Jensen, event organizer.  “We are always happy to host this event, the Forum has a reputation for providing a civil and well-attended event,” he continued.

The program will include a 20-minute break to allow community members to meet the candidates.  The Municipal League of King County, The Golf Club at Newcastle and The Newcastle Chamber of Commerce, jointly hosts the Eastside Candidate Forum.
