New Craft, Antique and Garden Show

Hundreds of unique crafts, gifts and garden items will be available just in time for Mother's Day at the Hilltop Spring Craft, Antique and Garden show, May 4-7 at the Northwest Arts Center, 9825 NE 24th St.

While the Arts Center hosts an annual winter event, this is its first-ever spring show. Ten a.m. to 8 p.m.,  May 4-6, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 7, the event will feature items for sale from more than 30 vendors. It will include handcrafted items from some of the Northwest's best crafters and designers, including some available for $5.

  • Chris Benivades, Children's Wearables;
  • Sabine Whiten, Vintage Items;
  • Cheril Cruden, Bling! Bling! Jewelry;
  • Heidi Risse, Soap Works Studio;
  • Kari Morgan, KLM Home Furnishings; and
  • Darlene Ulsh, "The Cookie Lady"

Instructors and participants from art programs at the center will also showcase and sell their work.

Arts Center staff decided to host the spring show due to the success of their popular winter craft show, which attracts more than 3,000 visitors each year.
