BevMo! Announces Nov. 9 Opening Date

Liquor and wine store Beverages and More announced its opening date of its new Bellevue store as Nov. 9.

Beverages and More, known as  will open Nov. 9, with a grand opening celebration, including a gift bag giveaway grand opening morning.

The company last month posted jobs for the new location, at 1100 Bellevue Way NE.

The California-based liquor superstore has opened a store in Tacoma, and announced new locations in Northgate, Bellingham and Ballard opening next month.

Several large national liquor and wine store chains have come to Washington since the state voted to privatize liquor sales last November. The state liquor stores closed earlier this year, andliquor license rights were auctioned off. Manygrocery stores are now in the liquor business as well.

Bellevue also got Delaware-based Total Wine and More earlier this year next door to Uwajimaya.

The new stores will include tasting rooms, beer growler stations, and thousands of wines, spirits and beers that have been carefully chosen by BevMo!’s team of experts, according to a press release.

The company also promises that the stores will carry products from Washington wineries, craft distillers and brewers. 

The Bellevue store will celebrate its grand opening with a complimentary gift bag for the first 500 customers, including more than $50 of barware, mixers and snacks and wine and beer tastings and cocktail demonstrations throughout the weekend, according to the company press release.
