Cactus to Take Over Z'Tejas Location at Bellevue Collection

Cactus, which offers Southwestern inspired food, will take over the Z'Tejas location at Bellevue Collection. Z'Tejas will close its doors Jan. 26, with drink specials.

Southwestern food will stay at Bellevue Square, as Cactus, the Seattle-based restaurant with four locations in Kirkland and Seattle, will take over the Z'Tejas location at the Lodge at Bellevue Square, according to a statement through the mall's Twitter account.

Cactus offers small plates and entrees from the Southwest and Mexico such as fajitas, tacos, enchiladas.

According to the Bellevue Collection's Facebook page, Cactus is aiming for a June 2013 opening date.

Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill in Bellevue Square announced last November that its last day will be Jan. 26.

The Arizona-based restaurant had been in Bellevue Square for 11 years, and will offer drink specials for its loyal customers.

For its last day, Saturday, Jan. 26, from 7 p.m. till 11 p.m. Z’Tejas will offer $2 beer and house wine and all other drinks for $5.
