Fuji Bakery Grand Re-Opening Set for Saturday

The Japanese artisan bakery has been closed for nearly eight months while moving its production facility from Bellevue to Seattle.

Fuji Bakery is just about ready to warm its ovens back up in Bellevue.

The Japanese artisan bakery closed its Bellevue and International District locations last July, enabling it to move its production site to a new third location on Elliott Avenue in Seattle.

Both the Bellevue and ID locations will re-open for business this Saturday, March 23. More details from Fuji's website:

We apologize to our customers for the long wait and invite you to join us this Saturday to get a taste of our freshly baked breads and pastries. We'll be starting out with a limited menu of loaf breads and croissants (including new cranberry bread—come give it a try!) and work on producing the full menu you know and love throughout the spring.

The Bellevue store will be open from 8:00 to 7:00 and the ID store will be open from 11:30 to 7:00, Monday through Saturday. The new location on Elliott Avenue will open later in April once construction on the front has completed.
