GeekWire: Expedia Signs Lease in Skyline Tower, Sign of Expansion?

Expedia spokeswoman tells GeekWire that Bellevue HQ needs to expand for growth of employee base.

GeekWire cites an unnamed source in a report that travel ticket sales website Expedia plans to take roughly 60,000 square feet in the 24-story Skyline Tower at 10900 NE 4th St. in downtown Bellevue, which is one block east of Expedia headquarters.

An Expedia spokeswoman confirmed to GeekWire that the company needs room to grow, but did not provide specifics, however, the GeekWire reported that 60,000 square feet is enough room to accommodate 300 employees.
