Kelsey Creek Starbucks to Get a Drive-Through
The Starbucks at Kelsey Creek shopping center is opening a drive-through, which the company says is on track for opening this month.
Signs for the new drive-through at Starbucks at Kelsey Creek shopping center are up this week.
Update: 7 p.m.
A Starbucks spokeswoman told Bellevue Patch that the store is on track for opening this month, but did not disclose a specific date for opening.
Original story:
The Starbucks at the shopping center at the corner of 148th Avenue Southeast and Main Street in east Bellevue will have a stand-alone building with a drive-through outside.
We've asked Starbucks headquarters for the official opening date for the new location at 15015 Main Street, Bellevue, WA, but from the outside, it looks like there's a bit more seating inside than in its current location in the shopping center. We'll post an update on Patch if we hear back from Starbucks.
The shopping center has been redeveloping since 2011, when the owners PMF investments began work on the old K-Mart site on the property, which had been vacant for years. Today, the location includes a Walmart Neighborhood Market and LA Fitness as major tenants. Other businesses also have moved to Kelsey Creek shopping center since it began redevelopment, including Kukai Ramen, Menchie's Frozen Yogurt and other businesses.
