That ART GAL. Gallery Moves from Bellevue Square to New Location Off Main Street

An update to the gallery that had been temporarily located in Bellevue Square for the holiday season.

Art broker Jeanne Fancher Roberts announced that her gallery, That ART GAL, which had been located in Bellevue Square for several months, has found a new location off Main Street.

The new location is at 16 102nd Ave. NE, which is between Main Street and the Downtown Park, just behind the Mark Allen Salon.

That ART GAL opened in last year as a "pop-up" art gallery timed for the holiday season.

"The plan was to stay for seven weeks, and we ended up there for three months," she said Wednesday.

The gallery specializes in original art by Northwest artsts, including paintings and sculptures.

Roberts h.as 15 years experience as an art broker, starting out by displaying and selling art to friends out of her home from Northwest artists including Steve Jensen and Guy Anderson. She also works with clients to find art that will fit their tastes and their homes.

Ms. Roberts has also recently introduced “The Art Minute” on the University of Washington television station UWTV, (channel 27 on Comcast).

The store's "Summer Hours" are Tuesdays and Thursdays noon to 6 p.m. and Fridays 4 to 8 p.m. and anytime by appointment, call 425-922-5363.

The store also will have special hours for the trio of arts festivals that will be downtown this weekend:

Friday, July 29 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Saturday, July 30 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
