Adopt this Pet: Smitty is an Easy-Going Tabby

Smitty is one of the adoptable pets at the Seattle Humane Society featured this week on Bellevue Patch. Check this column soon to meet another featured adoptable pet.

Adopt Smitty! This 6-month-old tabby is truly a gem whose easy-going nature is evident in the way he rolls over, inviting belly rubs.  He absolutely loves to be around people and will greet you with purrs and trills while trying to crawl into your lap! If Smitty seems like the charming fellow for you – come and meet him today at the Seattle Humane Society in Bellevue.

The Seattle Humane Society is at 13212 SE Eastgate Way in Bellevue and is open seven days a week, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday.

All dogs and cats at the Seattle Humane Society have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. They go home with 30 days of pet health insurance and a certificate for an examination by a King County veterinarian. A record-setting 277 pets were adopted into loving homes during Seattle Humane Society’s free pet Adoption Blitz on Oct. 12 and 14. The buzz for the free adoption event also brought crowds to the shelter a day earlier, helping us provide homes for more than 300 dogs, cats and critters in a four-day period.
