Bellevue Chinese Restaurant Closed After County Inspection

Koi's Seafood Restaurant was closed by county health inspectors for several violations. It's the second restaurant to be closed by county health inspectors this week.

Inspectors with Seattle and King County Public Health closed Koi's Seafood Restaurant, 200 106th Ave NE, Tuesday afternoon for several violations, according to the county.

The violations included the following:

  • Potentially hazardous foods (PHF) at unsafe temperatures
  • Improper cooling of PHF
  • Inadequate facilities to control temperature of PHF
  • Foods not protected from cross contamination
  • Equipment/utensils not properly sanitized

The restaurant, which serves Chinese food according to its website, will be reopened once the inspector confirms that all issues have been resolved, the county update stated.

Koi's was the second restaurant to be closed by Seattle and King County Public Health in the past week.

There have not been any previous inspections of the business, according to Public Health Records. The owners of Koi's Seafood Restaurant have been operating the restaurant for less than a year, according to state business records.
