Bellevue Firefighters Extinguish Tar Fire on Bellevue High School Roof

The Bellevue Fire Department responded to a tar fire on the roof of Bellevue High School, which caused a lot of black smoke, but no damage or injuries.

A passerby called the fire department shortly before 9 p.m. to report black smoke coming from the top of the building, according to the Bellevue Fire Department.

The fire caused a lot of black smoke, but no damage or injuries, according to Bellevue Fire Lt. Doug Borst. The fire was out within 15 minutes, he said.
