Bellevue Power Outage Affects 200 Residents, PSE Reports

Puget Sound Energy reports that power to street south of Main Street expected to be back online at 10:30 a.m.

An underground power cable failure caused a power outage Saturday Sept. 10 to a neighborhood south of old Main Street in downtown and power is expected to be restored by 10:30 a.m., according to Puget Sound Energy.

The outage around 102nd Avenue Southeast affects about 200 customers, Puget Sound Energy reported. Residents in the neighborhood noticed the outage around 1:30 a.m.

Underground power cables are more difficult to reach and can take longer to repair than issues that occur above-ground, according to PSE.
