Eastside Fashion: Fashion Supports Breast Cancer Survivors

Everyone wants to help and support Breast Cancer. But, we can't all be fast marathon runners and scientists...but shoppers, no problem!

As many of you know, it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer affects many familes. Everyone wants to help and support breast cancer, but we can't all be fast marathon runners and scientists. But shoppers, no problem!

Below is a list of the most fashionable products, which proceeds go to support breast cancer research and foundations.

Hunter Boots: The fabulous Scottish footwear company HUNTER BOOTS, are coloring their shoes pink! In support of Breast Cancer! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation to fund research and raise awareness about the deadly disease, which affects over 200,000 women per year. Available at stores nationwide and online at Nordstrom.com for $125.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Charm Bracelet: Marc by Marc Jacobs have out this chic charm bracelt in support of Breast Cancer Awarness for $88. Fifty percent of proceeds are donated to Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization. Available online at shopbop.com

Bobbi Brown Pink Glitter Lip Gloss: Many makeup companies are coming out with pink products with portions supporting causes related to breast cancer. One of my favorites is  Bobbi Brown Pink Glitter Lip Gloss. Bobbi Brown has created their beautiful limited edition Pink Ribbon Collection lip set, featuring the Pink Glitter Lip Gloss and their top selling shade of Tulle Lip Color packaged in a pink carton. The set is available for $40 at Bobbi Brown counters in stores and online at bobbibrown.com and Nordstrom.com. The company has committed to donating $35,000 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Betsey Johnson's carryall: Designer Betsey Johnson has released a high fashion carryall bag supporting the National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund and the Well Cornell Breast Center, where Johnson, an 11-year breast cancer survivor, was treated. Available at betseyjohnson.com

Ralph Lauren Umbrella- Ralph Lauren is stepping in and has out a breast cancer awareness umbrella, “a champion for fighting cancer globally.” Available at ralphlauren.com.

There are many of ways that you can help out! , , and you can purchase items (often in pink) which donates some proceeds to breast cancer support causes. Go out and support, and as the slogan goes, “Save the boobies!”
