Evergreen Point Park and Ride to Move to Temporary Location

The temporary park-and-ride location will be on the north side of State Route 520 at Evergreen Point Road and Northeast 32nd Street in Medina. The relocation will accommodate the construction of SR 520.

Metro Transit’s Evergreen Point Bridge Park-and-Ride on State Route 520 will be moved to a temporary location and the number of parking spaces will be reduced. This location will be used for about two years to allow for construction of the Washington State Department of Transportation’s (WSDOT) Eastside Transit and HOV Project.

Starting Monday, the new temporary lot will be just north of the current park-and-ride location. It is located on the north side of SR520 at Evergreen Point Road and Northeast 32nd Street in Medina.

The temporary lot capacity is reduced from 50 to 19 stalls due to limited space and to avoid cutting down six mature trees. When the new park-and-ride opens in 2013, the current capacity of 50 stalls will be restored.
