Factoria Mall to Host Festival of Giving on Saturday Dec. 1

There will be holiday fun and donations accepted for families in need, as Radio Disney AM 1250 hosts the Festival of Giving at the Market Place at Factoria on Saturday Dec. 1.

The event will be from noon to 4 p.m. at the Market Place at Factoria, 4055 Factoria Mall SE, Bellevue, WA 98006.

Entertainment and activities include interactive entertainment for the whole family including choirs, watching youth theater performances and taking photos with Santa.

Republic Services will offer “Naughty & Nice” recycling tips and will team up with KIDSQuest Museum to provide hands-on learning with earth-friendly gift wrapping demonstrations, creative “green” gift ideas, and activity tables where kids and parents create holiday decorations and gift tags from recycled materials.  

Radio Disney AM 1250's "Festival of Giving" event will feature charities including Toys for Tots, Food Lifeline, Salvation Army, The Humane Society for Seattle/King County. "Festival of Giving" is part of Radio Disney’s Project Family initiative, inspiring families to spend time together in an effort to make a lasting, positive change at home, in their community and the world at large.

If you are unable to get to the Festival of Giving on December 1 but would still like to donate items, you may bring them to Republic Services at 1600 NE 127th Avenue in Bellevue, Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. In order for items to be delivered in time for the holidays, please drop off your donations off prior to Dec. 15 and identify the items for “Festival of Giving.”
