Five Things You Need To Know Today: July 18

It's free movie night once again in Bellevue.

1.  will be offering free admission to all active military personnel and their families all summer as part of the National Endowment for the Arts’ Blue Star Museums program. Present your military ID from now until Labor Day to enjoy KidsQuest Children’s Museum free of charge. 

2. Do you work in the hotel or restaurant industry? It’s your night for specials at Industry Night at the Spot Off Main, 20 103rd Ave. NE, from 10 p.m.–2 a.m. .

3. It’s also trivia night at , 15600 NE 8th St. Put all that wasted brain power to work starting at 8 p.m. Cost is $1 per person; food and drink specials will be available. .

4. Planning to go swimming? Skip Meydenbauer Beach Park today and Newport Beach Park tomorrow, as the beaches will be closed for milfoil treatment.

5. From 10 a.m.-4 p.m., a Hindi, Bengali and Urdu interpreter/translator is available at Crossroads Mini City Hall to offer personal assistance to the people of Bellevue’s most diverse and densely populated neighborhood. The service center is a fully equipped satellite office for City Hall, staffed by a coordinator and community volunteers. And from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., a King County public health outreach worker will be on hand at Mini City Hall to help with information about many different Public Health programs including energy assistance, health insurance and other programs for children and families.
