If you happen to be in Bellingham this weekend, check out the work of Bellevue artist Suzanne DeCuir, who will be showing new works at the DeCuir’s paintings will be part of a three-artist exhibition featuring works by Bill Evans, E. V. Wick, and DeCuir. The opening night reception for the artists will be on on Saturday, March 5 from 6 to 8 p.m.

5. King County’s native plant salvage program is looking for volunteers to take part in a March 5 salvage effort in Issaquah. Volunteers are needed to dig out native trees and shrubs from property that is going to be cleared, then pot the vegetation at the King County native plant holding facility near Sammamish.
