There are professional workshops and great art to take in here in Bellevue today.

Inspired by the Qin terra cotta army of Xi'an and the artist's experiences during the Chinese Cultural Revolution, Zhang's massive clay figures cross over from history into today's culture. The Mysterious Content of Softness brings together 11 national and international artists, in an exploration of fiber's potential to both address and shape who we are (side note: my daughter and I were completely fascinated by the life-size crocheted locker room). The museum is open from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. The cost: $10 adult, $7 senior/student, free for members and children 5 and younger, $25 family ticket.

Full-time adult volunteers get a discount on day camp registration for their own children. Camp Fire provides the required training for all volunteers.
