Global Icon Tutu Brings His Message To The Tacoma Dome

On a night of inspirational messages and talk of peace and hope, the 1984 Nobel Peace Price winner asks Puget Sound youth to lead positive lives and speak out against injustices.

Desmond Tutu encouraged Puget Sound youth to be the instruments of change for good Friday night at the Tacoma Dome.

In a 30-minute speech that mixed humor and spirituality, the South African archbishop and 1984 Nobel Peace Prize winner entertained the crowd of some 15,000, which included faces from University Place Presbyterian Church and Lakes High School.

Check out some of the photos from Friday night's event.
