Movin 92.5 Offers Amanda Knox $10,000 for Weeklong Morning Show Stint

Movin 92.5, one of the Bellevue-based Sandusky Radio Seattle stations, offered Amanda Knox, who won her appeal of a guilty verdict in a murder trial, $10,000 to co-host their morning show for a week.

Bellevue-based posted on its website that it is offering Amanda Knox, the Seattle woman acquitted of murder in Italy, $10,000 to co-host its morning show for a week.

Knox, 24, returned to her native Seattle Tuesday after spending four years behind bars for the murder of her British roommate Meredith Kercher in Perugia, where both women were on year-long study abroad programs. Knox, along with her boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, was found guilty of Kercher's murder and sexual assault in their first trial in 2009. The . Another man, Rudy Guede, is in prison for Kercher's murder and was sentenced to 16 years after all his appeals were exhausted.

In a statement on Movin 92.5's website, KQMV Program Director Maynard said:

"We believed in Amanda Knox all along and have been closely following the case. We are extremely happy for Amanda and her family and we not only welcome her back home to Seattle, but we also wanted to help her family with legal bills so we are offering her a job to be on the morning show with Brooke & Jubal for $10,000 dollars."

That might not be only offer available to Knox, according to Entertainment Weekly. Entertainment Weekly reported that publishers speculate that a book deal for Knox' memoirs could be worth millions of dollars in the US and international markets.
