The mother of Sky Metalwala, 2, told Bellevue police that she left the boy in her car when she and her four-year-old went to get help after she ran out of gas in the 2400 block of 112th Avenue Northeast Sunday morning.

State Route 520 Bridge reopened Monday morning after the weekend closure and after the installation of girders for the future lid at 84th Avenue Northeast. Another major closure is slated for December to install girders at 92nd Avenue Northeast.
