Rain A Possibility for Monday, Says Weather Service

Enjoy your summer weekend. We could get a period of rain Monday through Tuesday.

Enjoy the weekend weather: After a weekend of temperatures in the low 80s at Boeing Field, National Weather Service meteorologists report that there could be a chance of rain late Monday morning through Tuesday.

According to the National Weather Service, a frontal system will approach the North Coast Monday morning and then bring clouds southward toward the Puget Sound area. The clouds will bring a "good chance of rain" -- between a 30 to 50 percent chance of rain -- with normal late summer conditions returning by Wednesday and Thursday.

Puget Sound late summer will bring a relatively mild highs in the 70s Wednesday through the end of the week, according to the National Weather Service.
