Rain Expected to Stick Around Tuesday, Sunshine Expected the Rest of the Week

The National Weather Service expects the rain to stick around Tuesday, with sunshine and temperatures in the 70s returning for the rest of the week.

So much for the glimpse of summer -- weather above 80 degrees -- that Bellevue had on Sunday afternoon and evening.

The storms that rained on the area Monday will continue as rain or drizzle before noon, according to the National Weather Service with a high today expected near 69.

Sunshine is expected to return through the rest of the week, with partly to mostly sunny skies through Saturday, according to the weather service.
