Spring Plant Sales Around the Sound

This weekend is THE plant sale weekend for garden clubs, organizations and botanic gardens.

One good thing about all the rain lately, the ground is nice and soft, perfect for digging and planting. This weekend there are dozens of plant sales throughout the Puget Sound where novices and seasoned (you know I like puns) gardeners can find new cultivars to dress their yards. These annual sales often offer rare species of plants not found at most retail nurseries. Some of the sales are one day only, others begin on Friday and go through the weekend.
