Youth Connection | The CLA is on its Way

With the year well underway, one of Youth Link's biggest annual events celebrating youth in Bellevue is coming soon.

As spring approaches, AP testing isn’t the only event to look forward to – Bellevue Youth Link’s 22nd Community Leadership Awards are coming up in May! The Community Leadership Awards, also known as the CLA, is a great opportunity to recognize various youths in our community for their efforts and achievements. Held at the Bellevue City Hall, the CLA is designed to acknowledge outstanding young people who are making a positive difference in the community. Although the awards ceremony has been a long-lasting tradition, this year’s event will sport a fresh, new theme that will be decided by the CLA planning committee. The ceremony is a wonderful family event that is open to everybody in the community.

In the upcoming months, the committee will prepare to receive and vote on nominations for this year’s award winners. Over twenty awards will be handed out; be sure to submit nominations and votes! Nomination forms will be available at Bellevue schools, and can also be downloaded from our Youth Link web site at www.youthlink.com. Updates on the event details will soon be announced!
