Time to Tree-Cycle the Christmas Tree?

When the holiday festivities are over, what are your options in Bellevue to keep your tree out of a landfill?

Holiday festivities are winding down, and it's time to clean up. If , Bellevue residents have several options for disposing trees in a way that keep them out of landfills.

Trees should have no flocking, ornaments, paint, lights, metal hangers, nails or tinsel. You should check with the recycler of your choice to see if the tree should be cut up or left intact before pickup.

Curbside with the Allied Waste Services Yard Waste

Allied Waste Services customers can put Christmas trees on their curb with the regular yard waste on pickup day. The trees should be cut into four-foot lengths and tied into two-foot wide bundles with natural fiber rope or twine. For more information, call Allied Waste at 425-452-4762.
