Video: Rachel Beckwith's Mother Visits African Well Inspired in Her Daughter's Memory

On the anniversary of the death of Rachel Beckwith, the Issaquah girl whose 9th birthday wish was for donations for drinking water in Africa, Charity:Water released a video of her mother seeing the fruits of what her late daughter inspired.

Donations poured in and her story and campaign went viral on the Internet, with stories in national press such as the New York Times and CBS News, and international press, including The Daily Mail.

According to Charity:Water, people and the money is now helping 60,000 people get access to clean water. Watch the video of Rachel's mother, Samantha Paul, and her grandparents as they visit the well in Ethiopia and meet the people helped by Rachel's well.
